K-poppers Seventeen coming back to the Bay
K-pop group Seventeen has announced a short fall North American jaunt that includes two concerts at Oakland Arena.
On the RIGHT HERE World Tour, the large group will be supporting not only its biggest-selling record to date, 2023’s FML, but also an EP on the way in October. In all, Seventeen will play five U.S. cities, including a closing show at BMO Stadium in L.A. It’s the group’s first time back in the States since a 2022 run that also included an Oakland Arena concert. FML reportedly sold more copies than any other albums worldwide in 2023, and the group became the first K-pop act to perform at the main stage at Glastonbury in England.
Tickets go on sale to the group’s fan club starting on 3 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Pre-registration is required and runs through Sunday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. ET.
The general sale will begin on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. local time at Ticketmaster’s website. More tour information is available at the group’s website. A VIP package includes premium tickets, access to a pre-show soundcheck, early entry and a gift.
