Soul icons The Commodores, Tower of Power vocalist Lenny Williams, Scottish funk act Average White Band and Heatwave will perform at the fourth annual Mare Island Dock of Bay Festival in Vallejo on Sept. 7.

Dock of Bay, produced by local concert promoters Frazier Trager Presents, will again take place at the Mare Island waterfront, alongside the Napa River. The new one-day festivalalso includes an array of food options with regional wines, microbrews and specialty cocktails,

The tickets range from $120 for general admission to $265 for premium VIP. All ticket price ranges include free parking. General admission ticket-holders can bring portable chairs. VIP ticket-holders include designated seating along the waterfront with specialty drinks, culinary treats and indoor restrooms. Premium VIP attendees will have the opportunity to meet Average White Band backstage and win a Gold Vinyl set of its hits.

A food court area by one of the two stages, the Unity Stage, will have seating available to all attendees. The main stage will have a large video screen with modern production.

Dock of Bay Festival will run from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. along the Mare Island Waterfront at 860 Nimitz Ave, in Vallejo. Gate will open at 12:30 p.m.

In addition to Dock of Bay, Frazier Trager Presents also debuted a new Latin Rock on the Dock festival in the same location, with was held in July.
