J-Hope of BTS announces solo tour, Oakland Arena shows
J-Hope of K-pop supergroup BTS on Tuesday announced a 12-date solo tour for this spring. The Hope on the Stage trek includes two dates at Oakland Arena on March 31 and April 1.
This will be the rapper, singer and dancer’s first solo tour in North America following a 2022 set at Lollapalooza.
Tickets will be available starting with a fan presale on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. local time for all shows. Pre-registration is required. The general sale begins on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. local time via Live Nation’s website. VIP packages include premium tickets, a show afterparty, pre-show soundcheck, a gift and early entry.
Ticketing info for two Los Angeles shows at BMO Stadium will be released at a later date due to the ongoing wildfires.
The artist, whose name is Jung Ho-seok, made his solo debut in 2018 with mixtape Hope World, which reached no. 38 on the Billboard 200. His latest album, HOPE ON THE STREET, VOL.1, was released on March 29, 2024 and has reached no. 5 on Billboard 200.
