SAN FRANCISCO — Even a stormy winter’s night couldn’t quiet the thunder of Asking Alexandria, who played the Warfield on Thursday night.

The York, England band, with its hard driving guitar licks, powerful vocals, and an impressive light show, gave the crowd what it wanted. Playing songs from its new self-titled album, as well as some older favorites, Asking Alexandria kept the crowd energized until the last song.

The concert was a double-headlining bill with Warped Tour regulars Black Veil Brides. The Los Angeles hard rock band has its own new album, Vale. The band declined all photographer requests, however.

Metalcore band Crown the Empire, from Dallas, kickstarted the show on there right note, putting fans in the right mood. All three bands will be part of the final Warped Tour lineup this summer.
