Sam Smith announces tour, Oakland Arena and Chase Center dates

Sam Smith is bringing his new album, Gloria, on tour. The Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar winner will play both Oakland Arena and Chase Center in San Francisco in August.
“GLORIA The Tour” is their first North American run since 2018. The 27-city headline outing will kick off on July 25 in Miami and include shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum in Inglewood. The tour hits Oakland Arena on Aug. 27 and Chase Center on Aug. 28.
Singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, who guests on Gloria, was announced as the opener on all but one of the shows.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, Jan. 13 at 9 a.m. There will be a presale for American Express cardholders on Monday, Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. and run through Jan. 12. There will then be a fan presale on Jan. 11 at 9 a.m.
Sam Smith will release Gloria on Jan. 27. Their fourth album, it includes hit Grammy-nominated song “Unholy.”
