Michael Smyth lives in Reno following 40 years in the Bay Area, and retired from the corporate world in 2017. A longtime love of live music and an early career as a TV sports producer intersected to draw him into the challenge of sharing the live show experience through words and—despite having never touched a DSLR until retirement—through pictures. In addition to music he also covers NCAA Athletics, Minor League Baseball, PGA golf and boxing events.
