Green Day’s Mike Dirnt, Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go’s, Les Claypool to join Fred Armisen at Sketchfest
On Tuesday SF Sketchfest producers announced guest artists for Fred Armisen’s residency at the Great American Music Hall next week. Legendary jam band bassist Les Claypool will join the musician-actor-comedian on Friday, Jan. 27. On Saturday, Jan. 28, Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go’s will perform with Armisen. Closing out the three-night stand on Jan. 29 is Mike Dirnt of Green Day.

SF Sketchfest is celebrating its 20th year in 2023, with more than 200 shows between Jan. 20 and Feb. 5. The performances include sketch and stand-up comedy, alternative comedy, music, improv, films, tributes, reunions and podcast tapings.
