Florida-set Moon Crush gifting tix to frontline workers in contest
The producers of Moon Crush, touted as a “music vacation” in Florida, are inviting frontline workers to enter a giveaway for tickets and vacation accommodations to the physically distanced five-day event in Miramar Beach, with performances headlined by Sheryl Crow and Jason Isabel & The 400 Unit.
Moon Crush, held at the Seascape Golf, Beach and Tennis Resort, also includes sets by the Revivalists, NEEDTOBREATHE, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Lake Street Dive, Grace Potter, Margo Price, Shovels & Rope, Vintage Trouble, The War and Treaty, Sammy Rae and Yacht Rock Revue. The golf-course-set concerts will take place between April 26 and May, under 2021’s first Super Pink Moon. Aside from music, guests will will be invited to activities like bonfires, beach yoga, golfing and fishing tournaments.
The winners of the frontline workers’ giveaway will passes with personal viewing spaces, virtual meet-and-greets and accommodation at a beach-side condo near the performance site.
Moon Crush organizers have touted the event for its safety guidelines. Attendees must show a negative COVID-19 test before check-in, remain in their pods, wear facial coverings in all public spaces, and have reserved viewing spaces distanced from others. About 300 area condos and homes have been reserved for attendees. Food and drinks are available only with contactless delivery.
To enter the frontline worker giveaway, complete the application form by Feb. 12.
“This music vacation is all about being with the people we’ve missed this last year and we know the family and friends of frontline workers have a lot of people that have had to take a back seat while they serve their communities,” creator Andy Levine said. “We want to thank them and celebrate them at Moon Crush.”
