Following questions over whether the ceremony would even happen at all, the 2025 Grammy Award broadcast and ceremony will continue on as planned, just with a different focus following the deadly and destructive wildfires in Los Angeles. While many of the events and parties in connection with the event have been called off, Crypto.com Arena will remain home to the celebration. Even the Grammy week events were condensed to just four, each with an element on charitable giving.

“We understand how devastating this past week has been on this city and its people,” Recording Academy and MusiCares CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in in a news release. “This is our home, it’s home to thousands of music professionals, and many of us have been negatively impacted.”

While some elements of the show will be familiar, like the return of host Trevor Noah as well as the top stars in music presenting and performing, the message will be very different. The broadcast will also continue the call for donations and support for those impacted by the wildfires. Since launching the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals last week, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have raised and pledged more than $3.2 million in emergency aid to music people affected by the wildfires.

On stage, the show will feature a stacked marquee of the women dominating music, especially in the world of pop. Just about all the big nominees will be represented, including Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira and Billie Eilish. Also set to take the stage are RAYE, Benson Boone and Teddy Swims. More performers are expected to be announced leading up to showtime. While not taking the stage to perform, Taylor Swift and Beyonce are both expected to attend. Presenters for the show will also be announced closer to the broadcast.

Beyonce leads the pack with 11 nominations, Billie Eilish and Charli XCX each have even along with Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone, and the trio of Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift has six nominations each.
