Aerosmith has announced PEACE OUT, the four-time Grammy winners’ final tour, with openers The Black Crowes. The tour includes shows on Dec. 1 at Chase Center in San Francisco and on Dec. 4 at SAP Center in San Jose.
The band will be playing songs from throughout its 50-year songbook, and each show will include a THX-certified high fidelity sound system that will travel with the band. Aerosmith announced the tour with a celebrity-filled video and a short message: “It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT!”
The shows will take place without founding member and drummer Joey Kramer, who’s focusing on family and his health, according to a news release.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, May 5, via Ticketmaster’s website. VIP packages will also be available through the band’s website.
Aerosmith recently concluded its Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Before that, the band played a hometown show at Boston’s Fenway Park as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, selling more than 38,700 tickets—the most sold for a concert at the historic ballpark.
