K-poppers ATEEZ returning to the Bay Area on new tour
K-pop boy band ATEEZ, which performed at Coachella this month, has announced a new tour that will see a return to Oakland Arena in July.
The octet kick off their tour on July 14 in Tacoma, Wash., before making their way to the Bay Area. The trek, dubbed, [TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER], runs through Aug. 10.
Tickets will first be available via a presale fan club presale, registration for which began today and runs through May 1. The presale will run starting on May 2 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages will include better seats, early entry, gifts and soundcheck access. The general ticket sale begins on Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. local time.
ATEEZ, short for “A TEEnager Z,” debuted in 2018. The group is known for its dark pop, which includes elements of hip-hop and trap. The members, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung an Jongho, last performed at Oakland Arena in November 2022.
