Billy Joel announces first Bay Area show in 10 years, with Stevie Nicks

Billy Joel is returning to the Bay Area for his first concert here in more than a decade at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Oct. 4, with Stevie Nicks opening.

The show is part of their “One Night, One Stage” tour, which began in 2023. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 7 via Ticketmaster’s website. Citi cardholders will have access to presale tickets starting at 10 a.m on Monday, March 3 until Thursday, March 6 at 10 p.m. via the the Citi Entertainment program.

The concert was announced on Thursday at a press conference at the stadium featuring San Francisco 49ers mascot Sourdough Sam, the team’s cheerleaders and stadium executives. It will be co-produced by Live Nation and Another Planet.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Billy Joel has sold more than 160 million albums. Nicks, a Bay Area native and rock hall member with Fleetwood Mac, has sold more than 220 million albums.

Joel last performed in the Bay Area at Oracle Park—then called AT&T Park—on Sept. 5, 2015.
