Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley adds third day, Snoop Dogg

Chaka Khan, Madlib and Snoop Dogg are joining the lineup of the inaugural Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley, which has also been expanded from two to three days at the end of July.

The festival will now take place July 29 to 31 at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena. July 29, the added day, will include a performance by Snoop Dogg and Dinner Party (Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper and Terrace Martin). Chaka Khan will headline on July 29, and other performers include Kamasi Washington, Madly, Chris Dave & The Drumheadz, Kenny Garrett, Alex Isley and many more.

Tickets for Friday start at $225 for general admission and $450 for VIP, and are on sale now at the festival’s website.



Other artists performing at Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley include Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli (Black Star), and Thundercat. Dave Chapelle will also appear.

The festival was the idea of Robert Glasper, who will be the festival’s artist-in-residence.

The performances will take place on three stages at the winery. Food will be offered by renowned local restaurants, and there will be wine tastings and other VIP add-ons.

Saturday and Sunday’s tickets are already sold out.
