Ed Sheeran has announced a series of club shows that will coincide with “The Mathematics Tour” of stadiums this spring and summer. The “Subtract Tour” includes a show at Oakland’s Fox Theater on Sept. 15, the day before his show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

In all, there will be club shows in 14 cities across. Singer-songwriter Ben Kweller will open most of these dates. While the first stadium show on the “+ – = ÷ x TOUR” is May 6, the first club show will take place in Clearwater, Fla. on May 19.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster’s contentious and much-maligned “Verified Fan” system, for those approved, on Tuesday, May 2 at 10 a.m. local time.

At both the stadium and club shows, Sheeran will be performing songs from his forthcoming album,  (Subtract), which will be released on May 5. Sheeran worked on the 14-track album with Aaron Dessner of The National in February 2022. Along with the album, Disney+ will air four-part documentary “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All” starting May 3.
