Ahead of a stadium tour, the Bay Area’s own Green Day will perform at the Fillmore on April 2 to raise awareness of the climate crisis.

The concert will be hosted by the United Nations Human Rights Council and the Recording Academy, with 100 percent of all proceeds benefiting the U.N.’s climate justice efforts and MusiCares’ Right Here, Right Now Climate Fund.

Tickets for the intimate gig go on sale Friday, March 29 at 12 p.m. via Live Nation’s website. According to the two organizations, the East Bay band was handpicked to perform at the show “for their longstanding commitment to social justice and environmental causes.”

Green Day released its most recent album, Saviors, in January. The band’s stadium tour, with the Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid, hits Oracle Park on Sept. 20.
