Metallica, The Who and Gorillaz will headline the 10th annual Outside Lands Music Festival, producers announced Tuesday.
Lorde, Fleet Foxes, Queens of the Stone Age, alt-J, Solange, A Tribe Called Quest, Little Dragon, Belle and Sebastian, The Avett Brothers, Above & Beyond, Tove Lo, Action Bronson and Thundercat are some of the other artists on the bill of Northern California’s largest celebration of music, art, food, wine, beer and khaki shorts. The three-day event will take place Aug. 11 to 13 at Golden Gate Park.
Regular priced three-day and VIP tickets, as well as shuttle permits, will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. at the festival’s website. The festival has sold out six consecutive years. To show an ongoing commitment to the local community, the festival has contributed nearly $17 million to the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.
