Outside Lands 2019: Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino and Paul Simon to headline
Alt-rockers Twenty One Pilots and R&B superstar Childish Gambino will join the previously announced legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon as headliners at the 2019 Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.
The three will be supported by Kacey Musgraves, the big winner at this year’s Grammy Awards, Australian producer Flume, roots rock band The Lumineers, pop-punk trio Blink-182, rappers Anderson .Paak and Lil Wayne, Irish singer-songwriter Hozier, soul crooner Leon Bridges, EDM artist Kygo and about 70 other artists on the lineup.
The 12th annual celebration will take place at Golden Gate Park from Aug. 9 to 11. Three-day general admission and VIP passes go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. at the festival’s website and range from $385 to $1,595 for a new luxury “Golden Gate Pass.”
Outside Lands will again be produced by Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly, and Starr Hill Presents, and will include best-in-class dining, beer and wine options as well as Grass Lands, an area focused on cannabis; and The Barbary, with comedians, podcasts and D.A.V.E. series (Discussions About Virtually Everything). Those lineups and participants will be announced at a later date. No initial announcement was made about the GastroMagic food entertainment stage.
