San Jose Jazz Summer Fest returns for its 32nd season this summer. The festival will run from Aug. 12 through Aug. 14 in and around Plaza de César Chavez Park in downtown San Jose. Nearly 100 acts, including CeeLo Green and Ledisi, will perform on eight stages.

“San Jose Jazz Summer Fest 2022 will greater reflect the trajectory of our flagship annual music event as we climb out of the pandemic and return to the look and feel of SJZ Summer Fest that music fans have come to love,” San Jose Jazz’s Executive Director Brendan Rawson said in a news release. “For 2022, we’ve looked closely at our role as a cultural organization and the responsibility we have to the residents of the South Bay. We are very passionate about providing top tier programming that’s both global in scope as well as reflective of San Jose. We greatly look forward to welcoming back patrons to a larger footprint than in 2021 with over eight stages of exciting outdoor and indoor concerts.”

Tickets are available at the San Jose Jazz website and range between $30 to $90 per day and between $75 and $495 for a three-day pass.

The Sobrato Organization Main Stage will be the home of Green and Ledisi, and other Grammy-winning artists, the Blues/Big Easy Stage  will feature blues and New Orleans acts in the south portion of Plaza de César Chavez Park. San Jose Museum of Art Stage will spotlight youth talent performing free shows on Aug. 13 and 14.

The Latin Tropical Stage will be a free, community venue this year, showcasing timba, son, mambo and Jíbaro. The salsa lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.

Other performances will be held at Montgomery Theater, Hammer Theatre, Hammer4 and SJZ Break Room. The full lineup is available on the San Jose Jazz website.
