Rock’n Vino: Sounds, sights and culinary delights of BottleRock 2018
BottleRock Napa Valley returns to the Napa Valley Expo Memorial Day Weekend for the fifth annual incarnation of what has quickly become one of Northern California’s preeminent music festivals.
This year’s BottleRock lineup boasts one of its strongest to date, featuring headlining sets from Muse, Bruno Mars and The Killers, along with a stacked undercard and the always unpredictable Culinary Stage, where the likes of Martha Stewart and five-star chefs like Marimoto are often upstaged by stars like Steph Curry, members of the Foo Fighters or Snoop Dogg.
The Rock’n Vino podcast, hosted by Coco Sterzenbach and Mike DeWald, sit down to talk all things BottleRock: the artists to see, how best to tackle the festival and some of the culinary highlights of this year’s festival, along with some other more common summer music festival topics. What are your music fest pet peeves? Everyone has something they can live without. Coco and Mike dish on their do’s and don’ts of festival season. BottleRock is completely sold out, but check out the podcast for some potential options to get you in to this year’s festival.
Rock’n Vino is a dive into the worlds of music and wine and how the two intersect. The duo routinely talks to musicians who make and drink wine, winemakers who make music, and all the culinary pairings and goodies that go along with it. On each episode, Coco and Mike talk to a guest mixing the worlds of food, drink and music for a fun and varied conversation.
