SAN FRANCISCO — Gunna brought his A-game to Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Saturday. The Atlanta rapper delivered a turbocharged performance alongside a production that included scenery from the Arctic, a post-apocalyptic landscape and an abominable snowman in a spectacular storytelling saga.

The show kicked off with a bang as a huge white creature came onto the stage, complete with theatrical sound effects and lighting and tiny bubbles of “snow” that simulated a blizzard. The creature stalked the stage as a video of a polar scene was projected onto a white sheet. Suddenly, Gunna’s voice kicked off the first song, new single “Bittersweet,” as he made his way through attendees on the floor, wearing a fur hood. He sang while getting to the stage, where the creature was still pacing from side to side.

Gunna replaced the snowman on stage for “Whatsapp,” revealing a white and brown polar-inspired outfit, complete with fur boots to match his oversize hooded hat. Working the stage alone, he spit his bars with ease. Moving on, he had the audience chanting along to “pradadem” and “Back at it,” amping him up.

Attendees soon found out that they were part of the production, when suddenly the sound of thunder and flashes of lightning filled the room. A stormy ocean scene projected onto the sheet cut to an underwater excavation of a mysterious artifact. As the artifact was extracted from the sea, the sheet suddenly dropped to reveal the object, mountain-like statue of Gunna’s head lying on stage.

Gunna changed into a pair of mirror-ball-style pants and a “Sex Ed” tank and appeared on top of the huge prop. He continued with “Back at it.”

A video screen behind the statue head projected an ever-changing background, which at the moment showed flowing water. Next up was “bottom,” which Gunna began while still on top of the head before making his way down by the end.

He continued marching through material relentlessly, barely taking a moment to breathe before moving on to “Ca$h $hit,” “idk nomore” and several other tracks. His vocals came through strong, singing and rapping equally clear. His stamina was incredible; showing no signs of fatigue, he plowed through song without appearing tired or breathless.

He used the prop as a seat at various times such as on Nav and Travis Scott collab “Yosemite.”

“Can you do me a favor?” Gunna asked at one point. “I need you to help me take the top off this motherf—!” The audience roared in response as he continued with “Top Off.”

Flo Milli

One last outfit change saw Gunna reappear in shiny black jeans, a black tank and a black leather jacket adorned with black feathers. He finished out his massive, two-hour, 30-song set with hits like Young Thug collab “Ski” and the uber-popular “Pushin P.”

Mobile, Ala. rapper Flo Milli kicked off the show with a lively 30-minute set of her own. She showcased her style while wearing an outfit that matched Gunna’s frosty scene in a blue body suit and furry boots, her sleek locks flowing past her hips.

The talented lyricist commanded the stage, dancing sensuously. She hit on tracks from her last three projects, including “Like That Bitch,” from 2020 mixtape Ho; and Why Is You Here? and “Conceited,” from 2022’s You Still Here, Ho? She wrapped up her set on a high note with fan favorite “Never Lose Me,” from 2024’s Fine, Ho, Stay.
