SAN FRANCISCO — Atlanta rapper Latto brought her Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour to the Masonic on Friday night. Originally scheduled for Bill Graham Civic with Karrahbooo and Mariah the Scientist, the concert was downsized to a smaller venue with one of the openers dropping out. As it turned out, so did the second as Karrahbooo was a no-show.

A few minutes after 9 p.m., the headliner, born Alyssa Michelle Stephens, appeared on stage solo, rapping “Georgia Peach,” from her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The cheetah-print-loving artist was dressed in a midriff-baring hoodie with matching stilettos and daisy dukes. Attendees, many wearing cheetah print themselves, rapped along to the mid-tempo song.

“San Francisco!” she screamed afterward. Four dancers then joined her as she rapped “Big L-A-T-T-O” and “There She Go.” She matched her dancers’ moves, never sounding winded. Aided by an off-stage hype man, she delivered the latter in a call-and-response manner.

The dancers climbed some stairs to twerk as Drake collab “Housekeeping Knows” began. Latto walked mid-stage to rap her part of the song.

“Do y’all got on y’all cheetah thongs?” she asked later, to which fans shouted in the affirmative. “I feel like I love my fans. But I love these miserable bitches too; shout out to my haters!”

A photo of Latto’s posterior filled a video screen as she sat on the stairs with her dancers for “H&M,” another new album song. After asking whether attendees had beverages in hand, “Liquor” kicked in. Latto stalked the stage, confidently rapping and occasionally turning around to show off her rear end.

She followed up with Young Nudy collab “Shrimp & Grits” before getting to popular Gucci Mane collab “Muwop,” from her first album, 2020’s Queen of da Souf. She capped this portion of the set with “It’s Givin,” from 2022’s 777.

She departed the stage, saying she needed to connect with a special day 1 fan, as a neon “Magic City” sign appeared on the screen. Poles emerged from back stage and the dancers spent the next few minutes entertaining the crowd with a routine of their own. When she returned, she’d changed into a red and white ‘Niners Deebo Samuel jersey and blue denim shorts.

During “Sunday Service,” she climbed the stairs and danced on the two-tiered stage’s higher platform. As the dancers reemerged in jeans and baseball caps, one attendee flashed a request on a cellphone that was captured by the cameraman: current single “Brokey.”

“That’s your shit?” Latto asked. “I’m-a come back to you for that one.”

A deep fry basket flashed on the screen as she got into the bonus track from the new album, the upbeat “Chicken Grease.” “Brokey” came next and was delivered with much fanfare with dancers waving fake magazine covers at the audience.

Latto hit on Cardi B collab “Put It On Da Floor, Again.” She was then handed a massive pair of cheetah-print panties for concert closer “Big Mama.” She confidently strode around the stage, rapping and waving the underwear around after an hourlong set, flashing a goodbye message on screen as viral TikTok trend “Thank You To My Man” played in the background.
