SLIDESHOW: Zoo Station at Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival

DUBLIN, Calif. — After being canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dublin’s popular St. Patrick’s Day festival returned last weekend, packing the Civic Center Plaza with thousands of people eager to get out, dress for the occasion, enjoy carnival rides, and see some live music. The Bay Area’s U2 tribute band, Zoo Station, had the top billing on the second day of the two-day event.

The quartet, which is celebrating 20 years together while also playing its final shows, performed to a crowd of a few hundred on the MainStage, running through U2’s hits like “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “One” and “Where the Streets Have No Name.” It was the second of four final shows for the band, which includes a show on St. Patrick’s Day at the Chapel in San Francisco.
