The producers of BottleRock Napa Valley this morning announced the return of the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival to B.R. Cohn Winery in the Sonoma Valley. The Avett Brothers and The Head and the Heart will headline the two-day festival on Sept. 22 and 23.
“We essentially created this music festival for people who don’t like larger sized music festivals,” BottleRock Presents partner Dave Graham said of the event, which returns after a three-year hiatus.
The Avett Brothers headline on Sept. 22. That day the lineup includes Lake Street Dive, Shovels & Rope, The Suffers and Royal Jelly Jive. Joining The Head and the Heart on Sept. 23 will be Rodrigo Y Gabriela, ZZ Ward, Rayland Baxter and Con Brio.
The Sonoma Harvest Music Festival offers music, wine and food lovers an opportunity to experience a premium festival where every seat is steps from the artist in a beautiful setting surrounded by vineyard and mountain views. B.R. Cohn Winery is in Glen Ellen, Sonoma County.
Vintage Wine Estates purchased the winery in 2015 with a dream to bring the festival back, CEO Pat Roney said in a news release. Sonoma’s girl & the fig, Glen Ellen Star, Zazu Kitchen + Farm, Brewsters Beer Garden & Restaurant and Sonoma Mission Inn will provide food to pair with B.R. Cohn wines. Craft brewers Lagunitas, Barrel Brothers, 101 North Brewing Co. and Sonoma Springs Brewing Co. will be on hand as well.
