High Sierra Music Festival announces initial lineup and on-sales
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Femi Kuti & The Positive Force and Lettuce are among the first wave of acts announced to perform at the 30th annual High Sierra Music Festival, which returns July 2 to 5 to Quincy, California.
Other artists include the Bay Area’s The California Honeydrops, The Floozies, Twiddle, Spafford, BoomBox with BackBeat Brass, Dumpstaphunk. Samantha Fish, True Loves, Cris Jacobs, Steve Poltz, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Ron Artis II & The Truth, Goose, Ghost-Note, Aqueous, Cedric Burnside, Lindsay Lou, Neal Francis, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, The Higgs and Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band. More acts will be announced in the coming months.
The festival, held at the Plumas-Sierra Fairgrounds, will be marking the milestone anniversary and more announcements are expected.
Traditionally, it also offers non-musical participatory activities like yoga, pilates, guided meditation and more. A child-friendly family village includes daily parades, and access to a swimming pool. High Sierra offers craft brews, artisanal cocktails and high cuisine.
