SAN FRANCISCO — What showmanship! Carly Rae Jepsen had the stage presence of someone who has been at it for more than a decade, and a bunch of fun songs (read: Not just “Call Me Maybe”) to keep a theater full of fans engaged for an hour-and-a-half. The Warfield Theater floor was bouncing for most of that time.

Though she cut her performance short by two or three songs because of reported vocal chord trouble, her set was still stellar, no doubt setting up the next phase of her career as an under-the-radar alt-pop star.

Opening duo Cardiknox, a quartet on stage, performed a too-short 20-minute set of electro-pop in the vein of NoNoNo or Chvrches, warming the crowd up with a solid set.
