Madonna to bring ‘The Celebration Tour’ to Chase Center in San Francisco
Madonna on Tuesday unveiled a new arena world tour, which includes a penultimate North American show at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
The best-selling female solo touring artist of all time will be highlighting her career songbook that stretches back more than 40 years.
The San Francisco show will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Tickets for this show will go on sale on Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. PT. See below for more details. The tour was announced alongside a video featuring the likes of Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Eric Andre and Amy Schumer.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said in a written statement to go with the announcement.
Bob the Drag Queen (Caldwell Tidicue) will open all shows. It will be Madonna’s first show in San Francisco since an intimate run of Madame X shows at Golden Gate Theatre in 2019.
Ticket sales will be split between two Fridays: Jan. 20 and 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Citi credit cardholders will have access to a presale at 2 p.m. local time on Jan. 17 for shows going on sale to the general public on Jan. 20, and on on Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. local time for shows that go on sale on Jan. 27.
