Music promoter Noise Pop on Thursday announced that it will bring back its annual San Francisco summer street party, the 20th Street Block Party, in October. It also confirmed that its annual Noise Pop Festival will return in 2022, and released early bird passes for the February festival. A lineup is yet to be announced.

While the 20th Street Block Party, which will be held on Oct. 16, will remain free, Noise Pop is selling “headliner lounge passes” to the event at its website. Although Noise Pop left its 20th street office in the Mission because of the pandemic, it will continue to highlight the neighborhood’s small businesses, food and diversity. In addition to the performers, who have also not been announced yet, there will be a street market, food venders and more.

Headliner lounge passes are $49 and will include a private lounge and bar, private outdoor viewing areas, complimentary adult beverages, small bites from the old vender and more perks to be announced.

Noise Pop Festival will return for its 29th year on Feb. 21 through 26 to 20 music venues, in addition to art shows, film screenings, happy hours, after-hour parties and more.

The early bird tickets are $99 and are available now at the festival’s website. Once that allotment sells out, the festival’s tiered pricing structure will continue to reward those who buy early with badge prices going up as the festival approaches and as future waves of artists are announced. All badges grant access to all general admission music concerts, private happy hours, film screenings and other special events to be announced.

“It’s been a long, strange year but it’s great to finally be getting back to normal,” Noise Pop Founder Kevin Arnold said in a prepared statement. “One of the positive things that came out of quarantine was a bunch of great music, and we can’t wait to help bring live entertainment back to the Bay Area.”

In 2020, Noise Pop stayed afloat through numerous fundraising efforts that included streaming series No Place Like Home.
