Sacramento’s Sol Blume festival postponed to August because of flooding from winter storms

Because of “devastating flooding effect” across Discovery Park due to flooding from the numerous atmospheric rivers that have battered Northern California, the organizers of Sacramento’s Sol Blume have rescheduled the April festival to Aug. 19 and 20.
The decision to cancel the originally scheduled spring festival was made by City of Sacramento park officials. Sol Blume producer ENT Legends, which is based in Sacramento, were able to pivot within days, turning it into a summer celebration of R&B, soul and hip-hop music.
Most of the originally announced lineup remains in tact, producers said. Brent Faiyaz and Kehlani will continue to headline alongside R&B, soul and hip-hop acts like Ella Mai, Jessie Reyez, Isaiah Rashad, Chloe, Joey Bada$$, Pink Sweat$, Nao, Sabrina Claudio, Pink Pantheress and other performers. GA and VIP weekend passes are on sale now at the festival’s website. There were several new acts announced as well.
All passes will be transferred to the new summer dates. For questions about refunds and artist updates and hotel assistance, organizers have set up an FAQ page. Ticket-holders can also contact the festival directly at

. Two-day general admission tickets cost $225 (plus fees) and VIP tickets are $400.
Joining Kehlani on Day 1 are Ella Mai, Isaiah Rashad, Joey Bada$$, Nao, festival alumni Sabrina Claudio and Mariah the Scientist, in addition to Amber Mark, LaRussell, Rini, Mereba and others. On Day 2, headliner Brent Faiyaz will be joined by Teyana Taylor, Jessie Reyez, Pink Sweat$, Chlöe (of sister-duo Chloe x Halle), PinkPantheress, Bay Area native Thuy, Jacquees and others.
Sol Blume was held for the first time in 2018 and held each year other than in 2020 and 2021. It expanded from one to two days last year and relocated to its new home of Discovery Park, hosting more than 40,000 total attendees.
