MOUNTAIN VIEW — Fighting back tears, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds dedicated the band’s Tuesday show at Shoreline Ampitheatre to the people of Las Vegas, the band’s hometown. “They will never stop the music, they will never stop us,” Reynolds said before the band kicked into “It’s Time,” as fans sang along. It was an emotional performance.

The night started off with Bay Area daughter K.Flay, who didn’t disappoint with a roughly 30-minute set that ended with “High Enough” and “Blood in the Cut,” two tracks off new album Every Where Is Some Where, which has finally given her music the national platform it has deserved for years.

SoCal hippie rockers Grouplove at times acted the part of whirling dervishes on stage, running and jumping in every direction. Lead vocalists Hannah Hooper, a North Bay native, and Christian Zucconi led the band through a short set of songs that relied equally on debut LP, Never Trust a Happy Song, as its follow-ups.
