SAN FRANCISCO – Danish singer-songwriter saved her new single, the Snakehips duet “Don’t Leave” for the end of her set at the Warfield Sunday night, but the rest of her set was also not without fireworks, as she crowd-surfed and even performed from the upper balcony, to the delight of fans who did not expect to get close to her.  Along the way she also tread over her other hits like “Don’t Leave,” “Final Song” and “Kamakazi,” as well as other tunes that also kept the fans engaged.

Valerie Teicher, better known as Tei Shi, played a dreamy, bass-driven opening set. Teicher, who was born in Argentina, raised in Colombia and Canada, and now calls Brooklyn home, played songs from her debut EP as well as her upcoming album, Crawl Space. Although Tei Shi only has a few songs to her name, she’s already made waves worldwide having played Coachella and opening for Grimes in 2016.
