BottleRock 2021 postponed to Labor Day Weekend, likely with new headliners

Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons perform at BottleRock Napa Valley at the Napa Valley Expo on May 26, 2019.

BottleRock Napa Valley, which was scrapped in 2020 following an initial postponement, has been postponed again in 2021, moving from its traditional Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend instead. It also appears it will have a new lineup, as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band and Stevie Nicks are listed as appearing.

The new dates for the music, food and wine festival will now be Sept. 3 to 5, 2021.

The move was made in anticipation of the national, state and regional responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. It appears organizers are set on a vaccine being widely available before inviting thousands of fans to Napa.

“We are looking forward to presenting BottleRock during such a beautiful time of the year in the Napa Valley,” said Dave Graham of BottleRock Presents. “We’re excited to bring back some joy to the Napa Valley through live music, with the health and safety of our patrons, artists, vendors, staff and surrounding communities front of mind.”

All previously 2020 and 2021 passes will be valid for next September’s dates. Ticket-holders will also be emailed more information about refunds. For those wishing to pre-register and obtain tickets for the new dates as soon as they’re available, please visit www.bottlerocknapavalley.com.

The festival lineup will be announced in early 2021.
